Coconut Oil – As a Cleanser
This might sound strange but I have done a post on a DIY skincare routine here. I have been having super sensitive and dry skin recently so I have reverted back to coconut oil. I use Raw, organic, cold pressed coconut oil as a cleanser and it is honestly the best make up remover I have every tried. It removes all traces of dirt and makeup whilst leaving my skin feeling soft and moisturised. Super!
I am always on the lookout for good quality makeup with clean ingredients and have recently gave this one a go. I love it, it is hydrating, blends really well and it gives a light – medium coverage but it is buildable. I use the shade cream.
It wouldn’t be a favourites post if I don’t include a Pai product. With my lack of skin hydration, I have been really liking this Avocado and Jojoba Hydrating Day Cream, I have been using it as my morning moisturiser and it leave my skin soft and is great under makeup. During some of my worst days I have been applying my Pai Serum underneath this moisturiser
I love Real Techniques Brushes they are my daily go to, but I’ve had this particular set for quite some time and never really found a use for it (except keeping the blush brush in my bag for the odd need to apply more blush throughout the day). I have recently tried using the brushes as a part of my daily routine to apply eye shadow and I have been loving them ever since. I use the mini foundation brush to apply the base colour and the mini eye shadow brush to apply a darker colour around the edges. I found that having miniature brushes makes it easier to be precise and apply better eyeshadow.
I always use an eyelash curler and I have recently purchased the Kevyn Aucoin one as my old one had seen better days. I love it, it has the perfect curve for my eye shape and I find it curls my lashes perfectly without damaging my lashes. Love it
