January Favourites: Beauty

Liz Earle – EyeBright Soothing Eye Lotion

I’ve had this lotion for ages and I forgot all about until recently as the weather go colder my eyes were feeling super sensitive especially after cleansing. I’ve been soaking a cotton disk with this lotion and applying to my eyes both morning and night after cleansing. It feels so soothing and cooling, perfect to refresh your eyes after a day looking at a computer screen

Inika Mascara – Black

I have been trying out different mascaras especially ones with clean ingredients and I am loving this one by Inika. I have been using it daily almost all month. It is super black and it gives a lot of volume, something I always look for in a mascara. It gives good lash definition and it stays on really well without smudging. Love it!

Urban Decay Naked 3

I have mentioned this in other favourite posts and I am back to using it almost daily. I love the pinky / gold shades, I find it very soothing for a cold weather look. My current favourite go to combo is Limit all across the lid, Nooner on the outer edges and Mugshot in the the centre of the eye lid.

Morphe Brushes – Angled Buffer Brush

These are new additions to my brush collection, I only got these a couple of months ago and have been loving them ever since. My current go the buffing brush is the angled buffing brush from the 6 Piece Deluxe Contour Kit. I have been using it to apply by base, have used it with tinted moisturiser, liquid foundation and stick foundation, and it performed will with all 3 types of foundation

Pai – AHA face mask

I bought this mask in the Black Friday Sales and it has been my go to mask ever since. Unlike most clay masks, this doesn’t make my face feel as tight during application. It deep cleanses the skin really well (I can see clean pores after rinsing) and I found it helps spots come out and heal quicker. I have been using it weekly and follow it up with my Pai Bio Regenerate Rosehip Oil. The ingredients are clean and vegan, so it is always a plus !
