December Favourites

I can’t believe it’s the end of the year! Each year seems to pass faster than the one before. Where has 2015 gone?  So without further rambling, on to my current favourite products.

Pai Rosehip Bio Regenerate Oil – I love Pai products, this brand features in almost every favourites and I have yet to try a product I don’t love. The brand is natural and organic and of extremely good quality. I have been using the rosehip oil regularly as a part of my evening routine, I usually apply a couple of drops onto my face instead of a moisturiser. However during December I have been adding a couple of drops to a pump of Pai Chamomile and Rosehip moisturise to lock in the moisture. I have seen great improvements in my skin since using this rose hip oil both with and without the moisturiser. Any scarring seem to have minimised, any redness on my face has gone down a lot and my skin looks plumper and fresher. Love it

W3ll People Narcissist Foundation in pale ivory – I find stick foundations easiest to apply and cleanest to carry and I am always on the lookout for clean and natural foundations. This is a pricey foundation but the quality is really amazing. It applies really well, it can be build able and provides great coverage without looking cakey. I Love it and would definitely recommend it especially to people with sensitive skin, the only flaw I found is the packaging since it is white, it gets dirty really quickly, but other than that it is a 5 star product in my opinion.

Inika Mineral Bronzer in Sunlight 01 – I got this bronzer quite some time ago but I have been having trouble applying it as I was ending up with an orange face, until I found the best brush for applying this bronzer which will also be mentioned in this month’s favourites. As most people I get paler in winter so applying this bronzer has helped adding colour to my face. I usually apply it lightly on my forehead, nose, chin and cheeks. I have also been using it as a light powder with foundations that are a slightly paler than my skin tone (the drawbacks of purchasing foundation online) but applying this bronzer lightly on top of my foundation and buffing it well with my buffing brush has fixed such problem. Genius (well not so much!) Love this product and its ingredients are great, no nasties!

W3ll People Universal ColorStick in Berry Aubergine –  I have been loving W3ll people as a brand in general and their stick products are amazing, so simple to apply. I have been using this stick as a blush  where I draw a line on my cheeks and buff it in with a buffing brush for a nice subtle natural blush. The colour in the stick looks very dark but when applied and buffed in, it gives an amazing natural colour.

Real Techniques – Duo Fibre face brush – the perfect brush for light application of powder products. I have been using this to apply my Inika bronzer and it makes it really easy to apply a light layer as it picks up the perfect amount of product for a hint of colour without ending up with orange patches. Perfect!

Deliciously Ella Cookbook – I’ve had this recipe book since it got published and I have tried and loved loads of recipes from it. This month I have been reaching for it more often as it has a lot of delicious breakfast recipes amazing for colder weather. I have been cooking warm hearty breakfasts daily from it (more like prepare it on the weekend and heat it up in the morning). The porridge bake and the apple and blackberry crumble are my current go to. Amazing cookbook with loads of tasty healthy recipes, the best thing is that most recipes are done out of simple ingredients which you can find in every supermarket, no need to visit special stores.  Love it, can’t wait for the new book to be published!
