I’ve been loving smoothies lately, they are easy to make, very beneficial, an easy way to get a lot of vitamins in one serving and very refreshing especially in warmer weather.
As discussed in the post beauty from the inside, what you put into your body is as important if not more important than what you actually apply on and it reflects in your skin and appearance.
I’ve been craving a smoothie a couple of days ago but was lacking ingredients, so I tried to create a smoothie with what I had available. It came out so delicious I took note of what I had put in and I decided to share it 🙂 Hope you enjoy it as much as I did
- 1 very ripe banana
- 1 carrot
- 1 apple
- handful kale & spinach
- 1/3 cup oat milk
I juiced the apple and carrot through a juicer, then put the juice in a blender along with in a handful of kale and spinach and 1/3 cup oat milk (since I did not have almond milk and this is so easy to make and does not require soaking for a lengthy period of time). Blend well together, until there are no traces of spinach leaves and enjoy!! You can drizzle maple syrup to enhance the taste.
