DAISY CANDLE

Recipe book purchase

wpid-wp-1421945882898.jpeg

I have recently been obsessed with recipes and recipe books, although I don’t cook as much as I should with the amount of recipes I have as I have enough to try out a new recipe each day for at least a couple of years. But I am sort of collecting recipe books to create a small library of recipes and recipe books in my kitchen.

I really like asian and middle eastern recipes, so when I came across the recipe book Persiansa and gave it a quick look though the pages I was hooked.  It has some really interesting recipes, and I have only tried a couple yet but I have enjoyed each one.

I am also trying to eat more veggies and have a lot of veggie based meals, which is why I chose Plenty More. It has some really interesting veggie recipes  which makes it more pleasant to eat a more plant based diet. It has some really delicious recipes and I am looking forward to try out more from the book.

I got both of these books from Waterstone and at the time they had a couple of pounds off each book (not sure if the discount is still on)

Do you enjoy recipe books? what are your favourite kind of recipes?  Do you have any recipe book suggestions?

Ah I am a recipe book addict for sure!! I have Ottolenghis Jerusalem book which I really like. I also enjoy Jamie Oliver of course and Lorraine Pascale recently. I love sitting down to relax and having a good read! x
