Intro to Healthy Lifestyle


Since I was around 14 years old, I’ve been into learning about nutrition and healthy eating. I still have much more to learn and I believe that you can always learn something new.

Having said so, I don’t always eat as healthy as I should and there are days where all I want is pizza or bread and sometimes I do give in and eat what I’m in the mood for. Most days I try to make an effort and prepare my meals  in advance so it is easier to stay on the right track. I still haven’t mastered meal prepping yet so if you have any tips please let me know in the comments below πŸ™‚

One of my main issues is hunger, a lot of times if I am really hungry I eat the first thing available which if I have meal prepped I will have something healthy readily available, but if not it might be a pie, crisps or biscuits.

I love finding new easy healthy recipes and “healthifying” common fast foods. Recently I have also been trying to incorporate exercise into my daily routine. I try to exercise first thing in the morning, as I am usually either too tired or too hungry when I get back from work. Although it is not easy waking up 1 hour earlier every morning to workout, I do feel better and more accomplished throughout the day when I workout. My favourite types of workouts are Yoga and Pilates based and during the past couple of weeks I’ve discovered  kettlebell training which I am really enjoying.
